Ingeburg Borowski's loosely and somewhat abstract painted figures suggest the anonymity that is sometimes felt in large crowds of people, but at the same time reflects the universality that their humanness conveys. Her figures and faces try to capture certain movements, gestures, intentions and expressions.
She lives and works in Hamburg/Germany
and Kootenay Bay, BC Canada
